When Charlotte ridiculed her father two months ago on WWE television it tugged on the heartstrings of every wrestling fan with some believing it was the last time Ric Flair would be seen.

The 67-year-old has been involved in the wrestling business since 1972 and has maintained a somewhat steady relationship with Vince McMahon's company since returning in 2001.

However, his contract with the company seems to have hindered a potential return and we may have seen the last of The Dirtiest Player in the Game.

Is this Flair-well of goodbye?

Flair will forever be a legend of the wrestling industry and his return to television is always heralded as a momentous occasion, but it seems the image of The Nature Boy crying as his daughter evicted him from her life may be the final one.

The veteran no longer has a "contractual affiliation" with the WWE and even though he was rumored to be returning to television in some capacity that is no longer likely.

Following his daughter's scathing attack in which she claimed he was "dead" to her, and with The Nature Girl now making her own name for herself it seems that having her father present will only serve as a distraction.

There is still a possibility that the two parties (Ric and WWE) could come to an arrangement on a contract but as of right now that remains an unlikely option and with Flair currently very open about certain issues in the company he may not be on the best of terms.

Backstage sighting

The veteran was spotted backstage at Monday Night Raw's most recent show sparking a rumor that he was due to be making a surprise appearance.

Also present was former WCW colleague Scott Hall, with both men not featuring in the show it became present that they were there as guests due to the fact the two legends live in the Atlanta area.

The former NWO founder has been recovering from addiction for a number of years and is now on good and stable terms with the company.
