Clement Petiot cuts a humble figure proud to be representing an entire nation in the upcoming Cruiserweight Classic.

The 30-year-old performer insists that he is under a lot of 'pressure' from the fans who will be watching from his home nation but ensures that he will do 'everything' that he can to win.

Just like the other 31 competitors in the tournament, Petiot is hoping to do his home country proud as the Frenchman hypes up the 'opportunity' that he has been presented with but says there is a lot of 'pressure' resting on his shoulders.

He said, "Being French and being here it is a huge opportunity, there is only one French [national] here, it is just me, so I have a lot of pressure on me."

Expectation for the technical performer who was trained by Lance Storm and Joey Ryan is at maximum level and following his six years of traveling across Europe performing against the industry's top names, he is planning to do 'whatever' it takes to win The Cruiserweight Classic.

He said, "I do not really think about it [the pressure] I am just going to do everything that I can to win the match and everything I do best which is wrestle, if I can knock out the guy or hurt him or whatever to win the match then I will."

A message for the French fans

Petiot was extremely grateful for the support he has received from his supporting countrymen who have sent him 'hundreds and hundreds' of messages across his social media.

He said, "Since I was announced for the tournament and I have had hundreds and hundreds of messages on my Facebook and my Twitter so it is huge like I never thought something that huge for me I would really like to thank them."

The performer who goes by the name of Tristan Archer outside of WWE, also 'encourages' his fans to 'watch the show' because it is going to be 'awesome' thanks to there being 32 of the world's best cruiserweights on offer.

He finished with "[I would like to] encourage them to watch the show because it is going to be awesome, 32 of the best cruiserweights in the world competing in the tournament to decide who is the best."
