Rhyno made a shock appearance in NXT last year and surprisingly stuck around for several months working with plenty of the younger talent before getting involved in a main roster feud with the Wyatt Family and the Dudley Boys before disappearing once again. However, on this week's episode of NXT, the king of the Gore made a shock return to Full Sail marching down to the ring and taking out everyone in his sight.

Gore,Gore,Gore!

The man-beast appeared out of nowhere in the middle of a match between the Hype Bros and Blake and Murphy and gored everyone in sight with only Buddy Murphy managing to escape the wrecking path of the former ECW and WWE star. When questioned afterward about why he has decided to return the veteran didn't give any explanation and instead just walked away from the camera, leading fans to question why he has chosen to come back.

One reason for his return could be based around the brand split. It was said that the WWE were contacting former talents to boost their rosters and that included the NXT roster. With several talents expected to be pushed to the main roster soon such as Finn Balor, adding another big name to the developmental brand will allow its star power to remain and that's exactly what adding Rhyno does.

He is a good hand to have around as he has plenty of experience to lend to the younger talent and he is someone who can still perform to a high level, which means he doesn't look out of place. Rhyno can also work as a heel or a baby face which means the writers can fit him into any storyline they like, with his return seeing him take out both the face team of the Hype Bros and the heel, Blake, it is unclear as to what he will be just yet.

Rhyno's last run with the company was a successful one so it's no surprise that the WWE would like him back. He had a huge influence on the development of Baron Corbin, who now finds himself on the main roster, as Rhyno feuded against him before forming a tag team with the Lone Wolf.

It was clear to see that Corbin learned plenty from the experience of working with Rhyno and hopefully he can do the same for another talent this time. Whilst his next move is unknown and how long he plans on staying a mystery it is certainly exciting to see Rhyno back in the WWE.
