What is an Asylum Match?
This is a question that everybody is asking ever since that odd JAWS type music played as Dean Ambrose hoaxed Chris Jericho into a match at Extreme Rules what on earth is an Asylum match? The obvious is a Steel Cage match but with a twist onto it. When this Steel Cage came the first observations seen was the Steel Cage is black and there are chains linked to it that help dangle weapons of all sorts over the for cage walls.
It looks like a killers basement really at least the straightjacket made it back on TV because you best believe its in there. The rules of the match aren't so clear because there are absolutely no rules you don't escape over the top or through the door they have to kill each other to win basically.
Goodbye, Chris Jericho?
People are speculating this will be Chris Jerichos send off match from his current run from the WWE which isn't too hard to believe because he has been here quite a while. Yet Fozzy has no dates upcoming but moving into the summer it is hard to say that Chris Jericho will stay around because due to obvious reasons a lot of music festivals happen in the summer time and he usually opens for a lot of bands. This match would be a great way to send him off have him go claiming that he beat Dean Ambrose in his own home of the Asylum.
Speculation of the match
This match won't be all it looks to be just like Dean Ambrose's match at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar. The only weapons this author see's being used are the fire extinguisher the mop and maybe the nunchucks will be used to choke someone other than them the other weapons won't be used at all, of course, the straightjacket will be used to win the match.
Chris Jericho will put Dean Ambrose in the Jacket for the win off the Codebreaker. This match won't start in the ring Chris Jericho will probably refuse to get in the ring then a chase will happen outside the ring then to escape he'll lock himself in the cage having Dean Ambrose to climb up and over to get into the match maybe the door won't even be locked but there are no escape rules so it could go everywhere.
