At WWE's biggest Pay-Per View (behind WrestleMania), Seth Rollins would defeat 15-time World Champion John Cena to win the US title, as well as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a winner-take all match. Seth Rollins, as promised by the Authority, would have a statue made because of his monumental win. But the next night on Raw, when they went to unveil the statue, and what was unveiled? A vigilante....an icon, the franchise of WCW, Sting.

Fast forward to Night of Champions, after Sting had trash compacted the statue, and Rollins had just wrestled a sixteen minute contest with one of the greatest world champions of all time, John Cena....and lost the United States Championship off of an Attitude Adjustment (then took an Attitude Adjustment on the floor from Cena). However, out comes Sting, in his third WWE match, after making Rollins tap out six days before, going up for his 14th World Championship in his wrestling career, and first in the WWE.

Sting comes in and goes to work on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but soon would take a bump from the champion that almost caused the match to come to a pre-mature halt, when Seth Rollins powerbombed him onto the turnbuckle, a spot he does night in and night out. Such a simple bump that looks so devastating, but the true question is, was it botched or was it because of age?

Sting made his pro-wrestling debut in 1985, under the name of Flash in the CWA, at the age of 26. That is now 30 years ago, and 13 World Titles, 5 promotions, and 11 PWI awards later, at 56 years of age, is Sting done for good? It was obvious Sting wasn't going to win the World Championship, as after carrying TNA for so long, Sting can't take the full time schedule anymore, but, was that bump a sign to end it? WWE.com would report this injury on Monday, before Raw. After looking to have an injured neck that could end his career for good, and a three-minute delay; Sting would dig down deep and finish the match, where Seth Rollins would counter the Scorpion Deathlock, into a small package for the win. Vavel will continue to update as information becomes available.
