Tamina Snuka, daughter of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, is being misused by the WWE. Tamina has all of the qualities there is to be the dominate force in the women’s division of this decade. Sadly WWE can’t seem to open their eyes to that. They may feel that having a dominant female who can tussle with the boys is a thing of the past, but when has there ever been an issue with recycling storyline ideas? Nicholas Sparks does it all the time.
Tamina Snuka debut in the WWE as a manager for The Usos. She then became infatuated with Santino Marella and eventually was his valet. The on-screen romance was scrapped after Snuka was drafted to Smackdown. Ever since, Tamina would lose every title offer given to her.
The biggest thing that’s been keeping Tamina relevant is being a bodyguard for AJ Lee or the muscle for Naomi’s new team B.A.D. Tamina has the talent to become the next Divas Champion and most dominant female in the business. Although her latest role does seem promising and has put her back in the spotlight, she's not center stage. Between the three of the members of B.A.D, Tamina will probably leave the group with the least opportunities offered. Despite the few injuries she’s had, Tamina has shown that she can be a talented high flyer like her father before her.
Let’s not forget that Tamina’s brother was also a WWE superstar, Deuce. If you’re surprised by that fact then maybe it’s, because Deuce wasn’t build as Jimmy Snuka’s son. Sure the commentators may have mentioned it, but from her first day on the main roster, everyone knew that Tamina was Snuka’s daughter. What Tamina really needs in her career right now is a successful singles path. One where she can really shine through and become the Divas Champion. Whether it’s with a persona as her father or her own, like her brother. Otherwise Tamina will continue to just fade into the background as a Heel.
