Last Thursday Rey Mysterio's contract expired and both parties came to good terms on the matter. Rey Mysterio hasn't been seen in action since the day after WrestleMania 30 due to an injury. Since then Mysterio has been trying to get out of his contract and even started the #FreeRey campaign.

Looking back on his tenure in the WWE, Mysterio has to be the biggest achiever of them all... and the shortest. He's won world championships and was voted in as WWE's greatest high flyer ever. Mysterio has brought in the WWE money in merchandise sales and the show. It didn't matter what outcome was booked for the match, Mysterio always delivered a phenomenal performance.

Now that Mysterio is no longer with the WWE, what is he going to do next? Many of his fans believe that he will start wrestling for either Asistencia Asesoría y Administración or Lucha Underground. It has been reported that Mysterio is charging $20,000 for an indie signing appearance. A reason why Lucha Underground wants Rey is because his star power could help them get better TV clearance and the same goes for AAA. Mysterio is 100% healthy so he is certainly ready for the action that awaits him in the ring.
