Filly Ria Antonia has been moved from the barn of trainer Bob Baffert to the barn of Tom Amoss and is currently scheduled for a start in the Preakness Stakes on Saturday, May 17. Ria Antonia finished 6th beaten 15 and 3/4 lengths in the Kentucky Oaks on May 2.

According to majority owner Ron Paolucci, he does not want to face the Kentucky Oaks Winner Untapable in the near future. “Here’s the thing: Untapable is the best 3-year-old in the country, boy or girl, in my opinion," stated Paolucci. Ria Antonia will have a light breeze on Monday or Tuesday before the final decision on whether or not to run in the Preakness is made.

If Ria Antonia does run in the Preakness Stakes, she would attempt to become the sixth filly to win the prestigious second jewel of the Triple Crown. Flocarline (1903), Whimsical (1906), Rhine Maiden (1915), Nellie Morse (1924), and Rachel Alexandra (2009) are the only fillies to have captured the Preakness Stakes.

According to Pimlico, here is the current list of possible entrants for the 139th Preakness Stakes:

California Chrome (Kentucky Derby Winner)

Ria Antonia (6th place finisher in the Kentucky Oaks)

Social Inclusion (3rd place in the Wood Memorial)

Ring Weekend (Tampa Bay Derby Winner)
