Vidal Nuno pitched the game of his young career in his Arizona Diamondbacks debut Tuesday night, all going for naught as Addison Reed blew his fifth save of the season to hand the Miami Marlins the 2-1 win.

Nuno threw seven shutout innings for the Diamondbacks, allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out seven. The Diamondbacks had Nuno in line for the win as Aaron Hill brought Nuno home for the only Diamondbacks run on a RBI single in the fifth inning.

Addison Reed walked Ed Lucas to start the ninth inning but recovered nicely as he struck out Giancarlo Stanton.   He was then able to get Casey McGehee to fly out to center. Marcell Ozuna followed with his two-run, game winning home run to dead center. Reed was heavily booed after the conclusion of the inning.

The Diamondbacks finish off the three game series with a matinee game on Wednesday as Josh Collmenter battles Nathan Eovaldi.
