Tony Campana gave the Arizona  Diamondbacks a much needed 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on his first career walkoff hit Wednesday night.

The D-backs got off to another good start, this time with a lot of help from the Brewers defense. Gerardo Parra led off the first inning with a triple to right field, the result of Ryan Braun unable to get a handle on the ball. Chris Owings hit a RBI single that deflected off Mark Reynolds glove on a attempted diving stop. Miguel Montero reached on a force attempt, where Rickie Weeks sloppily threw the ball past Jean Segura covering second for a error. With Aaron Hill batting, Matt Garza threw a wild pitch that allowed Paul Goldschmidt to advance to third base. Then, Aaron Hill grounded into a force out that scored Paul Goldschmidt due to a bad throw by Rickie Weeks to first base.

The D-backs scored another run in the third inning on a Paul Goldschmidt RBI single. The three runs --two earned-- were all Matt Garza surrendered throughout his strong 7.2 innings of work.

Khris Davis tied the game in the fourth inning on a three run homer off Wade Miley. The home run was the 17 home run Miley has given up this season, the second most in the majors. Like Garza, Miley settled down to dominate the rest of his outing. He too pitched 7.2 innings while striking out eight and four walks.

Thursday's matinee will be the series finale of the four game series, with a pitching matchup of Chase Anderson versus Yovani Gallardo. The D-backs will hope history doesn't continue on Thursday, as Gallardo is 6-0 with a 1.91 ERA in his career against Arizona.
