The Diamondbacks battled back from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game at four in the ninth inning, but couldn't keep the ball in the park once again as Chris Carter blasted a walk off home run against J.J. Putz in the tenth to cap off a 5-4 win.

The win Thursday night finished was the third in four games against the D-backs and finished off the two game series sweep in Houston. The problem for the D-backs was again the long ball. Wade Miley allowed four runs in five innings on seven hits, two walks and eight strikeouts, three runs coming from home runs from Jon Singleton in the third and Carlos Corporan's two run shot in the fourth. The other run came on a Jon Singleton sacrifice fly in the first inning.

Scott Feldman was solid, pitching 6.1 innings, allowing three runs --two earned-- on four hits and six strikeouts. Didi Gregorious hit a sacrifice fly in the third inning and scored on a wild pitch in the sixth inning. Chris Owings homered in the seventh inning to make it 4-3. After completing two saves against Arizona in the previous three games, Chad Qualls blew his second save of the season by allowing a solo home run to Miguel Montero.

The Diamondbacks head to Los Angeles to play a three game weekend series against the rival Dodgers. Friday's game will be a chance for Clayton Kershaw to get revenge after the D-backs handed him his worst outing of his career May 17 at Chase Field. Ironically, his opponent that night was Chase Anderson, who is scheduled to pitch Friday as well. Anderson will look to keep the ball in the park after struggling to do so against the Dodgers on May 17, where he gave up five runs in a winning effort.
