Time flys! A year ago today, Washington Nationals' outfielder Bryce Harper made his much-anticipated major league debut.

Although Bryce Harper was making his debut, it was Dodgers' Matt Kemp, who stole the show. Kemp led off the 10th inning with a walk-off homer off Tom Gorzelanny to give Los Angeles a 4 - 3 win. 19-year-old Harper, the youngest player in the majors, hit a double in the 7th and then a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the 9th, but Washington's bullpen blows a 3 - 1 lead, when Henry Rodriguez throws three wild pitches and gives up two runs to send the game into extra innings.

Anyways, Bryce Harper didn't disappoint as he was selected to the All-Star Game (impressive cause you never see a rookie at an All-Star Game), won the National League Rookie of the Year award and led his team to the playoffs.

The left-handed hitter, who was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the first round (first pick) of the 2010 draft, ended the season with a .270/.340/.477 batting line with 22 home runs, 58 RBI's, 26 doubles and 18 stolen bases in 139 games.

He's currently hitting .373 (31-for-81) with 9 home runs and 18 RBI's in 23 games this season and is yet to get better and better as he's only 20 years-old.
