It took him 76 plate appearances just to get his first home run of the season, but one thing is for sure is that Giancarlo Stanton simple killed that baseball as it was estimated at 472 feet.

Before that homer, Stanton was hitting .203 (13-for-64) with 4 RBI's and 3 doubles in 17 games with the Miami Marlins.

It is still not cleared if Stanton is unhappy or just having a bad April because in his very young career, he has struggled in every April.

From 2010-’12 in the month of April, Stanton posted a combined .214/.318/.383 batting line with only three home runs in 141 at-bats with also 43 strikeouts. On the other side, once April is over, Stanton usually enters one of his best months of the season. During his first three seasons in May, he hit a combined .307/.383/.689 line with 21 homers, 50 RBI’s and 16 doubles in 212 at-bats.

Last season, he finished he season with a career-high 37 home runs, even spending time on the disabled list due to knee problems.
