From 2007-2011 second baseman Dan Uggla belted 30+ home runs until last season where he only knocked 19 out of the park

According to Buster Olney of ESPN, Braves' hitting coach Greg Walker and Dan Uggla have been looking at tapes from 2006, when Uggla had a lot of success. In that year, he posted a .282/.339/.480 batting line with 27 homers and 90 RBI's in 683 plate appearances with the Miami (Florida) Marlins.

Not sure if watching old tapes will work as it was seven years ago. Maybe he's exiting his prime as he's 33 year-old now. Last season, Uggla batted a poor .220/.348/.384 line while striking out 168 times in 630 plate appearances with the Atlanta Braves. His first season with the Braves wasn't really that bad as he launched 36 bombs and brough in 82 runs,

Uggla is currently hitting .174 (12-for-69) with four home runs while striking out 28 times in 20 games. Luckily for the Braves, they don't need to depend much on Uggla as they brought B.J. and Justin Upton this winter.
