Statements - Edward Iordanescu (Coach of Romania)
On the opponent: "We are talking about a game of a completely different level. Colombia is the fittest team in the world, a very efficient team with a lot of individual quality. They beat Spain, Brazil, Germany. It was absolutely nothing by chance. They come after 20 games without losing."
On the previous game: "Although I didn't have a spectacular game against Northern Ireland, it was a very useful test for me. The team had a good attitude. After the game we were upset, it was normal, we would have liked to win."
"I tried certain things, I tried certain experiments, I performed them. We are at a time when we can do that. The same will happen in the friendly with Colombia. We are talking about a game of a completely different level (...) There will be many changes, it is a risk when you do this. But this depends on the strategy we have".
Statements - Amaranto Perea (Technical Assistant of Colombia)
About the opponent: "They have different characteristics from Spain, they have been undefeated for a lot of dates, it is a fact to take into account. One of their strengths is that they have no problem giving the ball away, defending in a low block and counter attacking. We have to be smart to move at high speed".
"If we look back, expectations have grown because of what has been done. When we took over the National Team it was complicated to think that we were candidates or could fight for the Copa America. We understand that we have to go with moderation."
On the renewal in Colombia: "There are young players, it is another thing if they are expected to play. There has been a change, players who were not there have appeared. The intention is there, but not everything can be all at once, there are things that have to go slowly and thinking about the future. Hopefully in the Copa América can be those who deserve it".

Romania is also on a 12-match unbeaten streak, having qualified for the competition without losing a single match.
Colombia, to reaffirm its good momentum
Colombia comes into this match with a lot of confidence, thanks to the victory it achieved in the first friendly match of this FIFA day against Spain. The team coached by Néstor Lorenzo showed two sides in the match against the Iberians and went from strength to strength to win by the minimum difference.
The Colombian team has been very calm in the days leading up to this game against Romania, while keeping in mind the aspects that must be improved in the course of each game, in order to try to have more moments like the second half against the Spaniards. The undefeated record of the Colombians in the Lorenzo era is at stake and although it is only a statistic, it is what has most supported the work in this period.
