90+4' End of the match!
THE MATCH IS OVER! COLOMBIAN VICTORY! Great victory of the Colombian team 1-0 over Spain in London, continuing the Colombian unbeaten streak in the Néstor Lorenzo era!
90'
Four more minutes will be played in the match.
88'
The end of the match is near. Spain did not have another clear scoring chance and Camilo Vargas has been a spectator since the ball he kicked out to Gerard Moreno.
85'
Last five minutes of the match. The game slowed down in the last moments and the changes did not do Spain much good.
80'
Spain tries to get closer to Colombia's area. For now without much danger for the defense of Néstor Lorenzo's team.
76'
Change in Colombia. Rafael Santos Borré replaces Mateo Casierra.
72'
Change in Spain. Lamine Yamal replaces Pablo Sarabia.
70'
Colombia won a lot of security in the match. Although Spain took the ball again, the Colombian team was able to recover the ball.
65'
Spain is still in shock after conceding the goal. However, it does not change its style and tries to take the ball to build play.
63'
There were changes in Spain after Colombia's goal. Nico Williams, Álvaro Morata and Alex Baena came in for Mikel Oyarzabal, Joselu and Gerard Moreno.
⚽ 61' ¡GOOOOOAL for Colombia!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL for Colombia! GOAL BY DANIEL MUÑOZ! A tremendous start with a masterful pass from James Rodriguez, Luis Diaz won possession against an opponent's mark and sent the cross for the Crystal Palace player, who volleyed in the ball to score the first goal of the match.
59'
JAMES MISSED IT! The 10 of the Colombian national team had the first goal at his feet, but his shot went over the goal.
56'
¡LA TUVO COLOMBIA! Buen disparo de James Rodríguez de media distancia y Álex Remiro tuvo que estirarse para evitar lo que era un golazo para el combinado cafetero.

53'
There's a different attitude from Colombia! Mateo Casierra appears much more to lend a hand in offensive play. The second half is much more dynamic so far.
49' Spain had it!
CAMILO VARGAS'S SAVE! Gerard Moreno's great shot in the area aimed at the left post, but the Colombian goalkeeper was better than the one he saved with his right hand.
47'
Colombia gains a little more offensive intent with the entry of James Rodriguez; he is one who changes front and that helps him to generate surprise.
Second half begins
The match restarts.
There was a change in Spain. Goalkeeper Alex Remiro replaces David Raya.
Colombia made two changes: Richard Rios and James Rodriguez replaced Kevin Castaño and Jorge Carrascal.
45' Halftime
The first half ends. It was not necessary to add minutes. 0-0, the score with which the teams go to the break.
45'
Colombia came close! Jhon Arias' first combination with teammates and then a shot that was caught by David Raya.
43'
It looked like an easy ball in Colombia's area for Camilo Vargas, but the goalkeeper played with Colombian hearts and almost made it difficult for him.
40'
Last five minutes of the first half. There is a lack of connections in Colombia. Jhon Arias and Luis Diaz take the ball, but generally have no one to offload a pass to help the attack progress. Spain's defense, a spectator for the moment.
38'
The game's procedure does not change at all. Colombia has had practically no possession of the ball and Spain is the one who continues to propose the best intentions to attack.
35'
Final stretch of the first half. Spain regained possession of the ball and had no problem using patience to find space.
32'
The best thing Colombia has done so far is the defensive work, although Spain has generated the two clearest chances, but another important aspect is the way they have come out on the wings. Luis Diaz is appearing more now.
30'
Half an hour into the match. Spain takes again the initiative to look for the rival goal. 0-0 the score is still 0-0.
28'
Colombia attacks very little. At the moment, it still depends on the flashes of Luis Diaz to generate danger. Jorge Carrascal needs to appear more as the axis in the midfield.
26'
Pablo Sarabia is lying on the field. The ball hit him in his right side when Johan Mojica was clearing the ball from the left side.
25'
For now, Colombia does not generate much from the collective in offensive matters. There is a good application of concepts in defense, but the team is still in the backfield.
21'
Colombia had it! Set up on a free kick, the ball came to the feet of Mateo Casierra, who shot with his left foot, but David Raya caught the ball low.
19'
Spain came close! Dani Vivian headed in Gerard Moreno's cross, but the ball went over the goal.
17'
The match, apparently, slowed down a bit in terms of pace and has become more of a fight in the middle of the field. The score remains 0-0 for the moment.
15'
First quarter of an hour of the match. Colombia has taken the ball a little more and has advanced a few meters.
11'
Colombia did not press Spain's exit again and retreated. This gave the Spaniards the option to play with plenty of space.
8'
Colombia came close. Mikel Merino headed a cross from the right flank, but the ball went over the goal.
7'
Spain continues to look for spaces in the Colombian defense. For now, the 'Cafetero' defense stops well, but also does not cut the game of the Spaniards. The dynamic is set by Luis De La Fuente's team.
5'
Spain takes the initiative in the match, as expected. Much dominance of the ball, ball circulation looking for spaces in the opponent's defense and as the minutes pass, Colombia still waiting to come out, although as it did in a first opportunity, press the opponent's exit.
3'
Spain came close! Alejandro Grimaldo's shot was saved by Camilo Vargas. First attacking intent from the home team.
1'
Quickly, Colombia shows its intention on the field: to put pressure on the opponent's start. Mateo Casierra is the first to do that job.
Match starts!

Statements - Nestor Lorenzo (Colombia Coach)
"It's not good to talk about players who are not called up, I don't need to test him to know if he is in or not. I felt we had to be consistent with the process and the players we hadn't seen much of. None of them are vetoed... or out".
"Many things have happened, such as suspending microcycles, because the clubs did not lend us the players. We also have to ask ourselves at what level is our league, in the sense of competition. How far are we getting in the Copa Sudamericana and Libertadores, which are a reflection of the reality".
"James [Rodriguez] is training normally with his team, with Sao Paulo, it is true that he has had very few minutes, but he has done very well every time it was his turn to come on. He is in a process of adding minutes and achieving his best form. He is a player who has matured, he has been a goal scorer in a World Cup and has given a lot to the national team and continues to do so today. We believe he can give more. He will be dosed and will be taken as we see him, the intention is for the team to take advantage of his talent".
Statements - Luis de La Fuente (Spain Coach)
"We are going to fight for the maximum. I am convinced that we will still be a better team in June and that we will be candidates to achieve something very important in the tournament."
"Colombia has been undefeated for two years, 17 games. It is a power and a team with many stars at international level. It is a very powerful team and they are in a moment of maximum confidence. Tomorrow's match will be very interesting.
"Since the Qualifying Phase we wanted to give meaning to an idea, reinforce it and that the players give themselves to it. We have two games against two very good rivals that will help us to recover sensations and grow more. We want to see the options we have and we also plan to take care of the players, so that no one plays more than we consider".
Public expectations
Fans and even players from other teams do not want to miss this great match between Spain and Colombia. At least 35 thousand spectators are expected for this match.

The second match took place 30 years later; Spain won by the minimum difference on February 9, 2011 at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Colombia to maintain unbeaten record in Lorenzo era
Colombia, with a lot of hard work, has managed to sustain a good performance, from the results, under the command of Néstor Lorenzo. The 2023 World Cup was a balm of hope for a team that had been in a slump after failing to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. However, it has managed to overcome tests that at the time would have been unthinkable, such as beating Germany and Brazil, which shows that it is a team with capabilities. However, facing the Copa America, they have aspects to improve and the fact that they started losing many of the matches is a task they will have to correct in order to avoid headaches in the definitive matches to come.
Spain, a team under construction ahead of the European Championship
The Spanish national team is preparing to face the European Championship and has set out the formation of its roster keeping the base of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. However, the process has been adding more figures betting on renewal. Seeing players such as Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsí, both minors, joining the team and demonstrating their ability at the elite level, invites to a promising future that is being carved. With the qualification to the UEFA Euro achieved with authority, these games will serve to refine more details for this tournament to be played in the middle of the year.
The match will be played at the London Stadium
The match Spain vs Colombia will be played at the London Stadium, located in the city of London, England. This enclosure, inaugurated in 2012, has capacity for 80,000 spectators.
This venue, is where usually, the Premier League's West Ham officiates as home for their matches. It has also hosted other major events such as the London Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and the World Athletics Championships in 2017.
